I was a traumatized wreck when I stepped off the plane my first day, but Brittany greeted me with a smile and sense of humor that put me at ease. I found that such kindness is abundant amongst the staff at CAST Centers and the Transitional Living. I’ve lived and engaged in treatment with CAST Centers for seven months now. I truly don’t have the words to say how thankful I am for everything above and beyond the call they have done for me during my time here. I was once a hollow shell of my former self, unable to complete the most simple task. Now I’m at UCLA, and I’m off to finish my Masters in Accounting program at Tulane University. They set up resources to hold me to these new standards after I leave. I feel like I can breathe for once knowing things will never go back to the way they once were.
